Super SpongeBob 2 is a fangame in the style of 8-Bit NES Hummer Team Bootlegs.
This title is loosely based on older SpongeBob games along with SpongeBob episodes (Seasons 1-4 with hints of the newer Seasons). Most of the musical melodies are from the show and early SpongeBob games with original tracks/arrangements made just for this game.
Be ready to jump over gaps, blow bubbles, and gather Golden Spatulas in this NES styled SpongeBob SquarePants fangame!
This game can and will throw challenges at you, don't expect a completely easy journey as SSB2 is designed to be a harder experience compared to other SpongeBob games.

I love the art being like the gbc spongebob game. Does this have controller support?

I played the outdated version of this on one of my streams, it was hella fun, can't wait to check out this new version!
Also, LOVE the SuperSponge 8-bit renditions! So based!
The fact that SuperSponge tracks are a part of this OST already makes the music part of this game the GOAT.
Warning to anyone who wants to play this tho: Play with lives off for your first playthrough! This game is a challenge! (I'm SO HAPPY that's an option btw.)
SuperSponge has such an overlooked OST, I had to include some of the songs in the game.
Also that's why I added a Lives toggle, so more people can get into the game without getting frustrated by the concept of running out of Lives.
